Työnhaun karuuttu ja päivän hupia Kanadassa

Ensimmäisestä haastattelusta huolimatta epätoivo valtaa mielemme välillä tässä niin muuten hiljaisessa työnhaussa. Tässä hyvä esimerkki "TODELLA VAATIVASTA" työstä, johon haimme, mutta emme saaneet haastattelukutsua.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the organization, population and general maintenance of the client site (posting, archiving, sending tickets, creating directories, reporting bugs).
- Manage storyboard process, providing materials (scripts/art reference etc) to all board artists, copying and distributing boards, cropping/scanning/archiving final boards.
- Responsible for Asset Breakdowns (funpack).
- Track the status of designs, assets, shots, renders and chase down problems.
- Data entry for artistic direction into database throughout animation process.
- Maintenance of the show wikipedia overview pages.
- Prep tape labels and organize shipping of delivery materials.
- Record and distribute notes during meetings and creative walk-a-rounds.
- Wrangle meetings.
- Maintain crew lists and contact information.
- Assist Production Managers wherever necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic keyboarding skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel. MS Project, is an asset.
- Ability to learn proprietary time and shot tracking tools
- Knowledge of delivery requirements for various formats, video, 16x9, HD, QT, etc.
- Operating Knowledge of office equipment (copiers, fax machines, printers, scanners, etc.)
- Ability to organize and multi-task as well as troubleshoot and problem solve quickly and effectively
- Ability to understand and follow a production schedule
- A keen eye for detail is essential
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Advanced listening skills
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of internal staff, external suppliers and occasionally clients
- High school diploma is required
- At least one year of post secondary media or related program education is preferred
- Previous animation/cgi production coordinating experience is preferred

Ottaen huomioon 4 vuoden tutkinnon, animaatio- ja leffakoulut, kansainväliset tuotannot ja 7 vuoden työkokemuksen alalla, niin voimme vain arvailla miksei kutsua tule "Canadian experience". Kaiken lisäksi vanha opettajani oli yksi Kanadan kuuluisimmista animaattoreista.
